Shoe-tying Club at VRB

Kindergarten and first grade students at Butler Elementary are excited to demonstrate their shoe-tying skills and become members of the "Shoe-tying Club" sponsored by the PE department.  Congratulations to all students who have become members so far! Submitted by Tammy Smith.

Students in 5th grade at WDE have been studying the scientific method. They are investigating the question “Where do maggots come from?" They have been observing three different types of meat (chicken, pork, beef) daily to practice steps of the scientific method.  Submitted by Jessica Dawkins.

Congratulations to Kellie Lambert and Victoria Frost for receiving the A. Horatio Alger Scholarship. Recipients are picture with Charlie Morse, Principal. The scholarships will be applied to both students' practical nursing classes. Submitted by Carol Rothgeb/FB
